Flagship General Manager – Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Paris

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential premium apparel client seeking a Flagship General Manager for their Paris location on Faubourg Saint-Honoré. This is a flagship retail leadership role where you will oversee all operational, sales, and people-management aspects of a high-profile store.

Business Leadership

• Develop and execute retail strategies that drive revenue and market presence
• Leverage local market knowledge of the clientele base and competitive landscape
• Stay informed of business trends relevant to the store and brand success
• Demonstrate strong business acumen through KPIs to develop and support business-driving strategies
• Lead your team by leveraging company tools, incentives, and strategies to consistently meet and exceed sales goals

People Leadership

• Ensure the store team embodies the brand mission and delivers exceptional guest experiences
• Foster an environment of growth, accountability, and inclusivity through development, performance management, training, and consistent coaching
• Conduct ongoing talent analysis and establish career progression plans to retain top talent and reduce turnover
• Establish internal and external talent pipelines through succession planning and strategic recruitment

Operations Leadership

• Partner with Operations and Visual Manager to maximize inventory accuracy and ensure replenishment needs are met
• Oversee and support execution of key operational and visual guidelines
• Champion strong visual standards for the sales floor by leveraging business performance data
• Support a safe work environment and efficient operations
• Develop schedules that deliver business results while maintaining labor efficiency

Brand Experience Leadership

• Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to support organizational goals
• Serve as a brand ambassador and create a culture that aligns with the company mission
• Navigate the organization with a balance of business need and brand culture
• Create and implement effective communication strategies throughout the store to achieve goals and KPIs

What We're Looking For

• Proven leadership experience within retail or a related industry
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Highly motivated by driving business in a fast-paced, innovative environment
• Business owner mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit
• Independent work ethic, strong time management skills, and personal accountability
• Ability to work variable shifts including peak days, weekends, and holiday blackout periods (American Thanksgiving through early January)
• Physical ability to stand and move for an entire shift, lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and safely use ladders
• Proof of right to live and work in France from start of employment
