About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI platform company on an exceptional opening for an Enterprise Deployments Engineer based in Berlin. Our client operates at the intersection of enterprise infrastructure and artificial intelligence, delivering secure, scalable AI solutions to thousands of organizations across Europe.

This role sits at a critical juncture: you will own the end-to-end deployment infrastructure that powers enterprise AI implementations across diverse cloud environments. You'll work directly with customer IT, security, and compliance teams at major European enterprises, translating their requirements into production-ready infrastructure while driving the internal systems that make deployment scalable and repeatable.

This is a full-time, on-site position in Berlin. Fluency in both German (C1+ or native) and English is required, as significant customer communication occurs in German.

Responsibilities

Platform Deployment & Infrastructure

• Deploy and configure the platform across customer cloud environments including AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenShift, and self-hosted configurations using infrastructure-as-code
• Adapt and extend infrastructure code to meet specific customer requirements and constraints
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks to ensure infrastructure code quality
• Drive standardization and professionalization of the deployment setup to enable scalability

Customer Engagement & Technical Leadership

• Serve as primary technical contact for customer IT, security, networking, and compliance teams throughout the deployment lifecycle
• Present architecture and build technical credibility with C-level stakeholders in customer meetings
• Translate customer requirements from compliance constraints to networking specifications into working infrastructure and platform changes
• Connect customer environments and applications to the platform including networking, access controls, and integrations

Operations & Reliability

• Coordinate and execute regular version upgrades in partnership with customers
• Build and maintain monitoring and alerting infrastructure for dedicated deployments
• Participate in on-call rotation to ensure platform reliability across customer environments
• Drive cost monitoring and optimization initiatives across the infrastructure stack
• Reproduce and support resolution of bugs related to single-tenant deployments

Platform Engineering & Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement improvements to deployment processes, monitoring, documentation, and security posture
• Build self-serve documentation for customers based on their feedback and common deployment patterns
• Contribute to product development where infrastructure and application layers intersect

What We're Looking For

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong hands-on cloud engineering experience across multiple major providers (AWS, Azure, GCP preferred)
• Proven track record deploying and maintaining production systems in complex enterprise environments
• Deep proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools and practices
• Fluency in German (C1+ or native) and English
• Demonstrated ability to engage confidently with technical and executive stakeholders in customer-facing situations
• Track record of taking ownership and driving initiatives without being directed
• Experience explaining complex technical architectures to diverse audiences including CISOs, IT teams, and C-level executives

Highly Valued

• Experience with OpenShift or on-premises deployment environments
• Background working in security-focused or compliance-heavy environments
• Early-stage startup experience building systems from scratch that needed to scale
• Prior work managing infrastructure across multiple customer tenants

Compensation

Pay via Get A Job.ai: €80,000 - €120,000 annually, plus equity participation. Final compensation will be determined based on experience level and scope of responsibilities.
