We are representing a confidential global media agency seeking a Senior Manager Paid Search to join their team in Germany. This is an exciting opportunity to lead strategic paid search initiatives for major brand clients while developing and mentoring a talented team.

The role is based in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, or Munich with flexible working arrangements that prioritize in-office collaboration supplemented by remote work options.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Client Development: Serve as the primary strategic advisor for assigned clients, developing tailored paid search strategies that drive measurable business outcomes
• Technical Leadership: Provide hands-on leadership to your team, fostering professional development and acting as a mentor to junior team members
• Campaign Conception & Management: Design and oversee complex SEA campaigns across Search, Shopping, and YouTube, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with client objectives
• Budget Ownership: Manage substantial media budgets, including strategic planning, ongoing control, and comprehensive client reporting
• Performance Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of campaign performance data, translate insights into actionable recommendations, and present strategic approaches confidently to clients
• Innovation & Specialization: Identify and pursue areas of specialization, drive continuous improvement, and champion emerging trends and innovations in the paid search landscape

What We're Looking For

• SEA Expertise: Deep knowledge of search engine advertising with proven experience setting up and managing complex campaigns across major platforms
• Leadership Experience: Initial management experience with a passion for coaching junior team members and actively sharing knowledge
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop comprehensive strategic concepts for client growth and present them persuasively to stakeholders
• Analytical Capabilities: Strong affinity for numbers and data with the ability to independently conduct complex analyses and derive strategic recommendations
• Client Orientation: Experience in strategic client consulting with the ability to understand client needs and communicate confidently at senior levels
• Self-Direction: High level of initiative with a desire to take ownership of specialized areas and drive their evolution
• Language Skills: Fluency in German is essential for this role; English proficiency is highly valued
