Delivery Solutions Architect

About This Opportunity

We are representing a leading data and AI platform provider seeking a Delivery Solutions Architect to join their team in Munich. In this technical, customer-facing role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, guiding them through complex data and AI implementations from technical win through production adoption.

You will partner with sales, engineering, and customer teams to accelerate platform adoption, influence architectural decisions, and ensure solutions deliver measurable business value. This position requires both deep technical expertise and strong stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and influence technical execution strategies across complex use cases and multiple workstreams within strategic accounts
• Lead architecture discussions with customer technical leads and architects, guiding critical technical decisions
• Design secure, governed, and scalable data platform architectures balancing performance, cost, reliability, and long-term scalability
• Build working solutions, prototypes, and reusable technical assets that accelerate customer outcomes
• Establish best practices for security, governance, and operational excellence while anticipating platform maturity needs
• Drive adoption and consumption by unblocking delivery challenges and connecting technical execution to business outcomes
• Coordinate across internal teams, customer stakeholders, and implementation partners to align resources and manage risks
• Mentor peers and contribute reusable technical guidance and frameworks across the organization
• Travel up to 30% as needed to support customer engagements

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years in solutions architecture, solutions engineering, technical consulting, professional services, data engineering, or related technical role
• Proven experience influencing technical strategy and architecture across complex customer use cases or multiple workstreams
• Strong coding proficiency in Python, SQL, Scala, or similar languages with ability to build, debug, and validate technical solutions
• Deep understanding of distributed data systems, data engineering, analytics, data warehousing, AI/ML, and modern cloud architectures
• Experience designing secure, governed, scalable, and production-ready data solutions
• Ability to solve ambiguous technical problems, evaluate trade-offs, and validate solutions through structured analysis
• Experience leading architecture discussions with technical leads, architects, and senior customer stakeholders
• Strong understanding of platform operational excellence including security, governance, performance, reliability, and cost optimization
• Demonstrated ability to drive customer adoption and measurable business outcomes through technical leadership
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills with ability to align teams without formal authority
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with modern data platforms and relevant certifications
• Developing expertise in technical specializations such as AI/ML, data engineering, streaming, data warehousing, governance, or migrations
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and production cloud deployments
• Experience creating reusable technical frameworks, demos, or enablement materials that scale across teams
