Director, Strategic Accounts – Logistics & Tech, m/f/d

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Director, Strategic Accounts to lead a high-performing team of Strategic Account Executives focused on Logistics and Tech verticals in Germany. In this leadership role, you will:

• Build and develop a strong talent pipeline, raising the bar with every hire as the team scales
• Establish a clear regional growth and investment plan within your first 90 days, demonstrating measurable outcomes
• Build and sponsor trusted, executive-level relationships with customers and partners to drive long-term success
• Coach your team to lead with strong vision-setting and methodology-based selling aligned to customer goals
• Ensure accurate forecasting and create a predictable, high-growth business through disciplined execution
• Develop deep understanding of the technical platform and roadmap to deliver durable customer value
• Make data-driven decisions and adapt quickly as insights evolve

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience leading high-performing Enterprise sales teams selling into strategic/global accounts in Germany
• Strong track record of developing high-performing teams in high-growth Data, AI, Cloud, or SaaS/Tech companies, consistently exceeding ambitious sales targets
• Extensive knowledge of the Logistics vertical with proven relationships across strategic accounts in this space
• Talent-first leadership approach - ability to identify, develop, and retain top performers
• Strong understanding of usage-based, commit-based, and service-based revenue models
• History of building and leveraging partner ecosystems as an executive sponsor
• Deep commitment to methodology-based sales coaching, including MEDDPICC and a Challenger mindset
• Disciplined operator with reputation for accurate forecasting and execution excellence
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites, company meetings and events - regionally and internationally
• Fluency in German and English is essential
