About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential IT services organization in Germany that plays a vital role in digital transformation for the public sector. Our talent team is seeking an experienced Kubernetes Administrator/Private Cloud Engineer to join their Customer Cluster Justice team working remotely from home office.
In this role, you will ensure that container infrastructure runs smoothly and remains future-ready. You'll be responsible for creating a highly available, scalable, and secure platform where applications can be reliably operated and continuously developed. Working alongside your team, you'll drive automation and optimization of the private cloud environment.
Responsibilities
- Advise on, design, and implement private cloud platforms
- Collaborate with technical teams to provision necessary infrastructure
- Measure, analyze, and optimize performance and stability
- Build and operate distributed systems using DevOps approaches
- Promote Continuous Integration and Deployment processes for efficient solution delivery
- Perform troubleshooting and error resolution in container environments
- Configure and operate proxies, including incident management
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in cloud/platform operations
- Experience in agile development and operation of distributed systems
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Ansible (essential)
- Proven experience with error analysis and troubleshooting in container environments
- Experience configuring, operating, and troubleshooting proxies
- Deep understanding of DevOps practices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, OpenShift, and JavaEE (advantageous)
- Very good German language skills (C1 level) and conversational English
