Senior Amazon Consultant (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential e-commerce consultancy seeking a Senior Amazon Consultant to join their growing team in Munich. In this role, you will take full ownership of client projects across retail, marketplace, and advertising strategies—from initial planning through execution and performance measurement.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Developing and implementing data-driven growth strategies to increase revenue, visibility, and profitability on Amazon
• Planning, managing, and optimizing Amazon Advertising campaigns including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP
• Identifying growth opportunities, assortment improvements, and efficiency gains for existing clients
• Advising decision-makers and presenting strategies, results, and business cases to C-level executives
• Analyzing relevant KPIs to steer performance and derive actionable recommendations
• Actively generating leads, acquiring new clients, and building long-term business relationships
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to deliver successful client outcomes
• Actively shaping internal processes, standards, and consulting methodologies in a high-growth environment

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Several years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or management consulting with an Amazon focus
• Proven track record managing and growing Amazon clients with significant revenue volumes
• Deep understanding of the Amazon ecosystem (Seller, Vendor, Marketplace, and Advertising)
• Experience developing and executing growth strategies for brands on Amazon
• Strong expertise in Amazon Advertising (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and ideally DSP)
• Proficiency with analysis and management tools such as Pacvue, Helium 10, Sellerboard, or comparable platforms
• Experience building and nurturing long-term B2B client relationships
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify business opportunities and translate them into concrete actions
• Confident presence and ability to communicate effectively with senior decision-makers
• Analytical, structured, solution-oriented work style with high personal accountability
• Experience creating, presenting, and interpreting reports with clear recommendations
• Fluent German and very good English skills

Nice to have:

• Demonstrated success in independently acquiring new clients and expanding existing accounts
• Experience in an Amazon agency, consultancy, or high-growth e-commerce environment
• Knowledge of additional performance marketing channels (Google Ads, Meta, affiliate, influencer marketing)
• Familiarity with CRM, sales, or marketing automation systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
• Enthusiasm for AI, automation, and data-driven process optimization
• Experience building structures, processes, or new business areas in dynamic growth companies
• Additional language skills and international market experience
