We are representing a confidential technology company that is building insurance-focused intelligence and advisory products for the commercial market. Our client seeks an experienced commercial insurance professional currently active in the United Kingdom to provide strategic guidance on product development and market positioning.
This is an independent consulting engagement requiring approximately 2 to 4 hours per month on a flexible, remote basis. You will advise on product design, coverage structure, underwriting approaches, distribution models, and market opportunities.

- Commercial insurance product design and market fit
- Coverage terms, limits, exclusions and policy structure
- Underwriting and pricing considerations
- Broker, carrier, MGA and direct distribution models
- Claims processes and common customer challenges
- Carrier appetite, capacity and competitive positioning
- Opportunities to enhance insurance data, tools and customer experiences
What We're Looking For
Essential experience:
- At least 5 years of relevant commercial insurance experience
- Currently operating in or closely involved with the United Kingdom insurance market
- Up-to-date knowledge of local customers, regulation and market conditions
- Direct experience with insurance product development, underwriting, claims, brokerage or distribution
- A valid LinkedIn profile demonstrating relevant professional background
