Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace Architect (w/m/x)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology consulting organization seeking a Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace Architect to join their team in Düsseldorf. In this role, you will design and deliver innovative workplace solutions that align with client objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing innovative solutions tailored to client goals and requirements
• Providing recommendations for optimizing existing technologies and implementing new solutions
• Developing high-level architecture blueprints using established frameworks and tools
• Planning, budgeting, and managing projects using agile methodologies
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address complex client requirements
• Supporting presales and sales processes, including contribution to proposals and tender documents
• Serving as the primary technical interface for clients, often in a sub-project leadership capacity on-site

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Proven experience with workplace transformation and deployment projects, including client architecture design
• Background as a Lead Architect, ideally with project and people management experience
• Strong knowledge of M365 in cloud and hybrid scenarios
• Hands-on experience with Windows 10 upgrades and integration of Office 365 or other cloud solutions into desktop environments
• Expertise with SCCM, desktop management tools, encryption solutions, security products, and packaging tools
• Additional expertise in Teams, SharePoint, or Exchange is highly valued
• Experience creating and responding to RFP/RFI/RFT documents
• Fluency in both German and English (minimum C1 level)
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Enthusiasm for new challenges, technologies, and working with diverse teams
• Willingness to travel as needed
