Senior Account Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a global financial technology organization that provides essential software solutions to accounting and audit professionals worldwide. Our client is seeking a Senior Account Manager to join their UK team in Maidstone.

In this client-facing role, you will manage relationships with 30+ accounting firm clients across the UK and Ireland, using consultative selling skills to maximize growth opportunities while ensuring exceptional client service. You'll work closely with internal teams to develop engagement strategies, represent our client's solutions at industry events, and drive revenue expansion within the existing customer base.

Important: This role requires regular travel throughout the UK and Ireland. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are mandatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed account plans for all assigned client relationships
• Schedule and conduct regular client service visits and meetings to exceed expectations
• Achieve annual sales targets of £250,000 or above through consultative selling
• Demonstrate product features, benefits, and capabilities across the software suite
• Participate in marketing activities including trade events, webinars, and territory campaigns
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM records and follow established sales procedures
• Provide regular sales pipeline updates and accurate forecasting information
• Handle sales enquiries swiftly and professionally
• Support colleagues during absences and mentor junior team members
• Contribute to the collaborative culture of the sales organization

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record in Software, SaaS, ERP, or technology sales
• Demonstrated success winning new business and expanding existing accounts
• Experience building and executing territory plans in a growth environment
• Consistent achievement of sales quota targets
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of forecasting revenue and achieving targets in high-growth settings
• Comfortable operating in a building-stage sales organization
• Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (mandatory)
• Knowledge of the accounting profession is valued but not required
