About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization that provides compliance and fraud prevention technology to financial institutions globally. Our client is seeking a talented Business Development Representative to join their Marketing team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional to grow their career in enterprise SaaS while contributing to meaningful work in financial crime prevention.

Responsibilities

• Build value-led relationships with prospective mid-market and enterprise accounts via email and other channels
• Research target accounts and contacts to understand their goals and pain-points, identifying opportunities for relevant engagement
• Meet MQL and pipeline generation targets by setting up meetings between prospective customers and Sales representatives
• Create and execute pre-event campaigns to drive awareness and schedule meetings around industry events
• Attend industry events and conferences as required
• Execute timely and personalized post-event follow-up, converting conversations and leads into qualified meetings
• Leverage marketing campaigns and content for optimized outreach to generate demand
• Write professional and tailored email and communication materials to maximize engagement
• Manage sales tools, combining intelligence from multiple sources to prioritize outreach based on intent and other factors
• Maintain meticulous records of contact and hold colleagues accountable for doing the same
• Build productive relationships with colleagues in Sales and Marketing

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years' experience in a business development role at a B2B technology organization
• A genuine passion for engaging with people and connecting challenges with solutions
• Strong expertise in cold email writing
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; German is an advantage
• A results-driven approach with the ability to work to targets
• Positivity, resourcefulness, resilience, and tenacity
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks with urgency and focus
• Interest in technology and AI
• Familiarity with CRM systems
• Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team
• Willingness to work hybrid, spending two days per week in the London office
• Knowledge of the financial services sector is a significant advantage
