About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking a talented Ruby Developer for a full-time remote position based in Lebanon. Our client operates across multiple markets and is building innovative web applications that require strong backend engineering expertise. This role offers the flexibility of remote work while collaborating with an experienced technical team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality Ruby code for web applications and backend systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following industry best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for performance and reliability
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience with Ruby, preferably using Ruby on Rails
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
• Hands-on experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience with third-party service integrations
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
