About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization that is building a next-generation mobile banking platform. Our talent team is searching for experienced iOS developers based in Germany to join this ambitious project remotely.

This is a role for engineers who care deeply about product quality, user experience, and shipping features that real customers depend on every day. You'll be building native iOS experiences for core financial products including onboarding, accounts, payments, transfers, and AI-assisted user journeys.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship native iOS features for financial products used by real customers
• Translate complex financial workflows into clean, fast, and intuitive mobile experiences
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, and AI engineering teams to move features from concept to production
• Own app quality metrics including performance, crash rates, loading states, edge cases, and release stability
• Use production analytics and customer feedback to iterate and improve features post-launch
• Integrate APIs, authentication systems, and secure data handling with a strong focus on reliability
• Debug production issues and continuously improve app performance and stability

What We're Looking For

• Strong native iOS development experience using Swift
• Proven track record shipping iOS applications to real users
• Solid understanding of SwiftUI, UIKit, async/await, and iOS architecture patterns
• Strong product sense and attention to user experience, not just screen implementation
• Ability to debug production issues and improve performance, reliability, and overall app quality
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with some ambiguity while maintaining high standards
• Real technology career highlights where you personally helped build, ship, or scale significant products or systems
• Strong English communication skills for collaboration with global teams
• Must currently be based in Germany

This role is not suitable for: Engineers who only work from fully defined tickets, developers who don't care about edge cases or performance, or those who prefer slow-moving corporate environments.
