About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential client in the global mobility technology sector for a 6-month contract project. We're seeking a Senior AQA Engineer with deep Python expertise to join their quality engineering team in Poland.
This is a focused engagement working on backend and API test automation for services that operate at significant scale across multiple regions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated backend and API test suites
- Test backend services and perform thorough analysis of test results
- Maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and quality documentation
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
- Collaborate closely with development teams, technical operations, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality practices
What We're Looking For
Required Experience and Skills:
- 5+ years of overall software engineering experience
- 3+ years of hands-on test automation experience with primary focus on backend systems
- Strong proficiency in Python and Pytest framework
- Proven experience testing REST and gRPC APIs
- Solid understanding of microservices and client-server architecture patterns
- Comfortable working in Linux environments with Bash scripting
- Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Basic SQL skills for data validation and analysis
- Experience with Kafka and/or Kibana
- Ability to analyze backend service logs and troubleshoot issues
- Basic understanding of Machine Learning concepts
- Demonstrated practical use of AI assistants in engineering workflows
