We are representing a confidential fintech client in their search for a talented field sales professional to join their growing team in Marseille. This is a 100% field-based role where you'll meet merchants directly, understand their needs, and help them grow their businesses with innovative payment solutions.

Responsibilities

• Prospect directly with merchants in your territory: restaurants, artisans, independent retailers, and local businesses
• Understand client needs and present appropriate payment and business management solutions
• Deliver clear and compelling product demonstrations in the field
• Negotiate and close sales directly on-site with prospects
• Manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact through contract signature
• Develop your territory sustainably through regular and structured prospecting activities
• Track your results and adjust your approach to meet and exceed sales targets

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in cold prospecting, ideally in field sales
• Comfort approaching prospects who are unfamiliar with the solutions you're presenting
• Genuine enthusiasm for field sales, direct prospecting, and human interaction
• Ability to quickly build trust and rapport with potential clients
• Strong verbal communication skills, energy, and persuasive ability
• Resilience in handling objections and maintaining motivation in a demanding environment
• Autonomous, organized, persistent, and results-oriented working style
• Motivation to achieve ambitious targets with direct impact on your earnings
• Fluent French and conversational English for internal communications
• Previous cold prospecting experience is essential for success in this role

Compensation and Benefits

Our client offers a transparent compensation structure with a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission potential. The total target package is €57,600 gross annually, with top performers regularly exceeding €100,000 gross annually. Additional benefits include 25 days paid holiday plus public holidays and special leave days, meal vouchers of €12 per working day, mobility allowance or public transport reimbursement, phone and internet allowances, company health insurance, wellness platform access, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
