Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential robotics organization seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join their R&D team in Munich. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and validating electronic circuits and software for development and certification testing of advanced robotic systems.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Design and implement electronic circuits and software for testing robot prototypes and subassemblies
  • Evaluate and analyze test results, providing feedback within a multidisciplinary team
  • Conduct root cause analysis for production-related quality issues
  • Create and maintain documentation for test procedures and results
  • Identify and implement improvements to existing test procedures to enhance efficiency and reliability
  • Support the production team in troubleshooting and resolving test-related issues

What We're Looking For

Essential qualifications:

  • Degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field
  • Deep understanding of electronic systems including PCB design, field oriented control, sensors and actuators
  • Hands-on experience in electronics lab work such as soldering, oscilloscopes, cable design and manufacturing
  • Industry experience in testing, verification, and analysis of electronic and robotic systems
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and test bench automation
  • Ability to collaborate and handle diverse responsibilities
  • System-oriented thinking and a structured working approach
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Valid driving license

Beneficial skills:

  • Experience with robotic systems and test bench automation such as PLC
  • Familiarity with middleware systems like OPCUA and bus systems such as EtherCAT
  • Experience with Linux/Unix environments, embedded controllers, and interfaces including CAN and SPI
  • German language skills are a plus
