Senior Account Executive, Enterprise (Private Accounts)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential enterprise software client seeking a Senior Account Executive, Enterprise (Private Accounts) to drive business development and revenue growth through strategic partnerships and direct sales.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and close new business within private sector accounts across your assigned territory
• Leverage channel partner relationships to accelerate sales cycles and close transactions with their end customers
• Conduct prospecting and cold calling to develop sales activities with mid-market and high-segment accounts
• Execute up-sell and cross-sell strategies within the existing customer base
• Maintain accurate forecasts and detailed account/opportunity records in Salesforce
• Propose, coordinate, and participate in marketing activities within your territory

What We're Looking For

Our client needs an experienced enterprise sales professional who brings:

• Proven experience in strategic enterprise sales, with demonstrated success selling both through channel partners and directly to customers
• Track record selling to private market IT infrastructure specialists
• Background in virtualization technology or related infrastructure solutions is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business and develop greenfield opportunities
• Self-starter mentality with rapid learning capability
• High-energy sales approach and competitive drive
• Comfort working in fast-paced environments where priorities shift quickly
• Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time
• Current valid driver's license
• Business proficient language skills in both German and English
