Senior B2B Insights Consultant DACH (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a fast-growing market research technology company seeking a Senior B2B Insights Consultant to join their specialized quantitative research team focused on the DACH region. This role sits within a dedicated unit that surveys professional decision-makers, B2B target groups, and niche business audiences for consultancy clients and corporate partners.

In this senior position, you will manage complex quantitative B2B research projects from start to finish—including feasibility assessment, study design, questionnaire development, platform setup, fieldwork monitoring, and final reporting. You will serve as a strategic advisor to corporate strategy teams and consultancies, translating intricate B2B and B2C data into actionable insights and recommendations. This is a high-velocity role where speed, rigorous screening logic, strong client engagement, and operational excellence are critical.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Leading end-to-end quantitative research projects with B2B audiences, including screening design, questionnaire drafting, platform configuration, fieldwork oversight, and data delivery
• Designing and optimizing custom study methodologies across key use cases such as Target Group Analysis, Usage & Attitudes studies, Pricing research, and Concept Testing for hard-to-reach professional segments
• Acting as a senior strategic partner to consultancy and corporate clients, providing expert guidance on sample feasibility, survey logic, and research approaches under tight timelines
• Collaborating with sales and account management teams on project scoping, feasibility validation, and methodology definition for complex client requests
• Contributing to the development of standardized B2B screening protocols, sampling frameworks, and best practices to ensure quality and speed across the research team

What We're Looking For

You will excel in this role if you have:

• 5+ years of quantitative market research experience with a strong focus on B2B target groups and professional decision-makers (agency or consulting background required)
• Hands-on expertise designing studies, writing questionnaires, and executing quantitative projects across core B2B methodologies including U&A studies, Pricing research, Concept Testing, and Target Group Analysis
• Proven experience creating executive-ready reports and presenting complex findings through clear, compelling storytelling to senior stakeholders
• A strategic, commercially-minded approach with the confidence to guide clients and defend research decisions under pressure
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in high-velocity environments, managing multiple concurrent projects while prioritizing effectively and maintaining composure under tight deadlines
• C2-level German proficiency and strong English skills, with outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
• A pragmatic, proactive, and resilient mindset with genuine passion for data quality and innovation

This position is based in Hamburg and requires someone who can operate independently while contributing to team knowledge and standards.
