About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential cybersecurity organization in their search for an Enterprise Sales Engineer focused on the TOLA region. Our client is building a best-in-class sales engineering team to support enterprise customers combating sophisticated email and identity-based security threats.
In this role, you'll serve as the primary technical contact for enterprise prospects, partnering closely with account executives to drive complex sales cycles. You'll conduct technical demonstrations, lead architecture discussions, and own proof-of-value programs that showcase measurable risk reduction for security, email, and identity teams.
Responsibilities
- Act as technical authority throughout enterprise sales cycles, from discovery through close
- Own and drive successful outcomes for enterprise-scale Proof of Value (POV) programs
- Lead architecture-level conversations with security, email, and identity stakeholders
- Conduct technical discovery to uncover customer pain points, requirements, and strategic objectives
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations in both virtual and in-person settings
- Answer architecture-level questions around modern threat landscapes and security controls
- Articulate technical and business value propositions to senior security, IT, and executive decision-makers
- Research competitive technical landscapes to address customer questions and objections
- Create value-driven presentations that tell compelling stories around risk reduction
- Educate sales teams and partners on platform capabilities and security posture
What We're Looking For
Must Have:
- 5+ years of Sales Engineering experience or relevant industry experience
- Proven ability to lead technical discovery and architecture discussions with security, infrastructure, identity, and compliance teams
- Strong technical presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to present the big picture, uncover complex business challenges, and architect solutions
- Experience working independently in fast-paced, high-impact enterprise sales environments
- Solid technical understanding of SaaS security models including multi-tenant cloud environments
- Working knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, TLS, and enterprise networking concepts as they relate to email and SaaS security
- High emotional intelligence with ability to read the room, engage stakeholders, and demonstrate empathy
- Strong customer focus with high sense of ownership over results
Nice to Have:
- Experience with enterprise email security platforms (Proofpoint, Mimecast, Cisco, Barracuda, etc.)
- Technical background in messaging and internet security principles
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange Online / Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
- Strong understanding of SMTP mail flow, MX records, and mail routing
- Working knowledge of email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and common failure modes
- Understanding of Cloud SaaS infrastructure including identity services such as Azure AD / Entra ID / Google Identity
- Ability to explain identity-driven and modern social engineering attacks and controls at an architectural level
- Experience integrating SaaS platforms via OAuth and REST APIs
- Familiarity with SIEM platforms (Splunk, Sentinel) and SOC workflows
- Experience working with or alongside SOC incident response teams
- Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, or equivalent)
