Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential education and training organization in Berlin seeking a freelance IT instructor to deliver professional development programs for adults. You will:
- Teach modules in object-oriented programming with Java and dynamic web development
- Design engaging, practical lessons that bring technical concepts to life
- Prepare students intensively for their final IHK Berlin certification examinations
- Develop and lead hands-on projects following each module
- Create teaching materials and contribute to the ongoing development of the organization's e-learning platform
What We're Looking For
Our client needs an experienced IT professional who can teach and inspire adult learners. The ideal candidate brings:
- Deep knowledge of the Fachinformatiker training regulations, KHK curriculum framework, and IHK Berlin guidelines
- Comprehensive understanding of modern web technologies and their practical application
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, including popular libraries and frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular
- Extensive experience in server-side web development, particularly with PHP and Python
- Advanced skills with relational databases, primarily SQL using MariaDB
- Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git
- Solid understanding of legal and technical foundations of data protection and IT security in web development
- Proven experience teaching adults with demonstrable ability to deliver lively, hands-on, methodologically and didactically modern instruction
- Ausbildereignung (trainer qualification) or comparable pedagogical training is highly desirable
- Familiarity with learning management systems and willingness to structure teaching and learning content systematically
