Training Manager (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential aerospace technology client in the Gilching, Bayern area. They are seeking an experienced Training Manager to lead product demonstrations and instructional programs for their unmanned aerial systems. This role requires extensive travel and direct engagement with international government and security sector clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify UAS equipment functionality prior to traveling to locations worldwide for product demonstrations and training delivery
• Develop engaging instructional materials including manuals, presentations, and practical exercises in both German and English
• Lead hands-on flight training sessions for fixed-wing UAV operations, covering pre-flight checks, flight planning, and post-processing procedures
• Conduct product demonstrations for prospective clients ranging from operators to ministerial-level decision-makers
• Evaluate trainee performance during theoretical and practical sessions, providing constructive feedback to enhance proficiency
• Maintain comprehensive training documentation and continuously update materials
• Collaborate closely with the governmental sales team to support client acquisition efforts

What We're Looking For

• Military, police, or intelligence background with operational experience abroad
• Proven ability to independently plan, conduct, and evaluate training sessions for security-relevant forces (police, military, intelligence services)
• Fluency in German and English; additional languages are advantageous
• Hands-on experience working with fixed-wing UAS, preferably eVTOL systems
• Strong presentation skills and confidence when engaging demanding, security-focused audiences
• Willingness to travel extensively worldwide, including to regions with challenging climatic, political, or infrastructural conditions
• Background training military forces or law enforcement agencies, ideally in international and intercultural contexts
• High motivation, responsibility, and professional demeanor
