About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital marketing agency searching for an Ad Operations Manager focused on their B2B client portfolio. This is a remote role within the United States, reporting directly to senior media operations leadership.

You will own end-to-end campaign trafficking, tagging, and quality assurance across Programmatic, Direct I/O, Paid Social, and Paid Search channels. Your primary focus will be supporting a major B2B account in the financial software sector, with additional work across other enterprise clients as capacity allows. This is a technical, hands-on position where precision and process discipline directly impact campaign performance and data integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Traffic all programmatic and direct I/O creative in Campaign Manager 360, including standard display, HTML5, and third-party served units
  • Build, implement, and QA impression trackers, click trackers, and daisy-chained tags across ad servers, DSPs, and publisher platforms
  • Manage site-side tracking setup and troubleshooting in Google Tag Manager, GA4, and platform pixels (LinkedIn, Meta, Google Ads)
  • Own conversion tracking governance, including UTM standards, event configuration, and offline conversion imports coordinated with client CRM or marketing automation teams
  • Serve as technical point of contact for ad serving, verification vendors, and third-party tracking issues
  • Support Programmatic, Paid Social, and Paid Search teams with pixel setup, UTM consistency, and campaign QA to maintain unified measurement standards
  • Coordinate with Client Service to ensure timely asset delivery and campaign readiness
  • Manage intake, tracking, and documentation of all trafficking and tagging requests
  • Contribute to performance reporting and proactively flag delivery, tracking, or data quality issues
  • Document and refine ad ops processes and QA checklists as client scope evolves

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • 2–5 years of ad operations experience, preferably at an agency or ad tech company
  • Deep hands-on expertise in Campaign Manager 360: placements, creatives, tracking ads, Floodlight configuration, and troubleshooting settings that break campaigns
  • Fluency with impression trackers, click trackers, HTML5 creatives, and tag daisy-chaining across ad server, DSP, and publisher environments
  • Experience with DSP tag setup, including platform macros and custom variables for passing data downstream
  • Proficiency with Google Tag Manager and GA4, including data layer variables and trigger configuration
  • Hands-on pixel implementation experience across LinkedIn, Meta, Google Ads, and other major platforms
  • Familiarity with verification and viewability vendors such as IAS or DoubleVerify
  • Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and browser debugging tools
  • Competency in Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables and formulas
  • Strong understanding of media planning processes and campaign KPIs (CTR, viewability, conversion rate, CPL)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and proven troubleshooting ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical issues for non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo) and paid media data integration
  • Background supporting B2B or SaaS advertisers
  • Experience on large, complex accounts with multiple stakeholders and business units
  • Familiarity with server-side tagging, consent management, or privacy-related tracking changes
