E-Mail Marketing Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential leather goods organization in Rostock, Germany, that is transforming how the industry approaches production and sustainability. Our client operates internationally and is seeking an experienced E-Mail Marketing Manager to drive customer engagement, revenue growth, and brand loyalty through strategic email campaigns and automation.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) based in Rostock, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. You will own the email marketing strategy from conception to execution, working across the entire customer journey with data-driven optimization and personalized content.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and optimize email marketing campaigns and automation workflows
• Take ownership of the email strategy across the complete customer journey
• Analyze performance data, interpret results, and derive actionable improvements
• Collaborate closely with design, content, and translation teams to deliver cohesive campaigns
• Communicate goals, results, and learnings transparently within the team
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to an Assistant E-Mail Marketer
• Work with content teams to optimize website copy, messaging, and tone of voice for email campaigns
• Develop high-impact campaigns that drive measurable revenue and budget performance

What We're Looking For

• Strong expertise in Klaviyo: flows, campaigns, segments, templates, and deliverability
• Several years of experience in email marketing, ideally within e-commerce environments
• Solid knowledge of social media, influencer marketing, and content strategy
• Analytical mindset with high affinity for data and metrics
• Structured, independent, and responsible working style
• Excellent written and spoken German and English
• Proven track record developing campaigns with measurable impact on budget and revenue
