Working Student / Thesis – Strategy Operations & Business Development (f/m/d)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential deep-tech robotics client in Munich. They are at an exciting inflection point—transforming proven technology into a scaling business with real customer traction. We are seeking a Working Student or Thesis Student to support their Strategy Operations and Business Development function during this critical growth phase.

This is a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of cutting-edge robotics and commercial strategy, contributing directly to decisions around market prioritization, pricing models, competitive positioning, and customer pipeline development.

Responsibilities

• Support business strategy development and market sizing exercises, translating product priorities into quantifiable market opportunities and growth projections
• Conduct competitive intelligence research, tracking industry players, funding activity, and product developments to deliver actionable insights for leadership
• Assist in building and qualifying partner and customer pipelines, including research on potential integrators and anchor customers
• Contribute to office setup and operational infrastructure as the team establishes its Munich presence
• Help develop internal reporting dashboards and steering tools that provide leadership with real-time business visibility
• Prepare materials for board updates, pricing analyses, and strategic planning exercises

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in business administration, industrial engineering, economics, or a related Bachelor's or Master's program
• Strong analytical mindset with genuine comfort working with numbers and data
• Demonstrated interest in robotics, deep tech, or Physical AI
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with ability to quickly learn new tools
• Fluent English required; German is a plus
• Available for at least four to six months, either as a working student or for thesis work
• Based in or willing to work from Munich
