About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital health organization based in Berlin that is expanding its technical support capabilities. This role offers the chance to work at the intersection of healthcare technology and customer service, supporting sophisticated software platforms used across the healthcare sector.

Our client is seeking an IT Support Specialist who enjoys solving technical problems, maintains clarity when juggling multiple issues, and can explain complex technical concepts in accessible ways. This is not typical call-center support – you'll be genuinely understanding problems, systematically narrowing them down, and collaborating with technical teams to find solutions.

The position is based in Berlin with a hybrid working model, combining remote flexibility with collaborative office days in Berlin-Mitte.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, document, and process support requests from customers
  • Assist users with questions about software functionality and workflows
  • Analyze and perform initial investigation of technical and functional errors
  • Review error messages, process status information, logs, and available system data
  • Classify and prioritize support cases while monitoring agreed service levels
  • Resolve known issues using existing documentation and workarounds
  • Escalate complex cases to 2nd level support, development teams, or appropriate departments with clear context
  • Document solutions and recurring error patterns in the knowledge base

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in IT support, service desk, or technical customer support roles (advantageous)
  • Strong technical understanding combined with structured, analytical working methods
  • Experience with ticketing systems and handling error messages and logs
  • High customer and service orientation with clear, friendly, and professional communication skills
  • Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken (required)
  • Knowledge of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL v4 (desirable)
  • Basic understanding of web applications, APIs, and JSON (advantageous)
  • Background in pharmacy, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sectors is a plus but not required

Our client values how you approach problems and communicate more than checking every box. They actively encourage the thoughtful use of AI tools in daily work and support continuous learning.

How We Work With You

When you apply through Get A Job.ai, our talent team will review your profile and conduct an initial screening conversation. We'll discuss your technical background, support experience, and interest in healthcare technology. If there's a strong match, we'll submit your application to our client with your permission.

Please apply exclusively through Get A Job.ai – do not contact the employer directly, as this is a confidential search.

You may apply with a full CV or simply share a few sentences about who you are, your relevant experience, and why this role interests you. We're focused on getting to know you as a professional.

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process and are competitive for the Berlin market.
