Head of Product and Strategy | ROB’E

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential MedTech venture developing an AI-powered robotic platform for cardiac imaging. Our client is entering a critical phase of product development, clinical validation, and fundraising, and we're seeking a Head of Product and Strategy to join the founding team in Hamburg.

In this role, you will work directly with physician-founders to shape company strategy, drive product development toward design freeze, and coordinate clinical validation studies. You'll translate clinical needs into product requirements, conduct market and competitive analyses, and develop commercialization strategies for Europe and the US.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading overall company strategy, business model development, and go-to-market planning
• Driving product development execution against milestones, timelines, and budget
• Coordinating clinical validation and usability studies with hospital partners
• Supporting regulatory strategy toward CE marking and FDA approval
• Preparing investor materials and supporting fundraising processes
• Building relationships with clinical partners, key opinion leaders, and strategic partners
• Establishing KPIs, processes, and reporting structures as the organization scales
• Supporting hiring of key team members and contributing to a high-performance culture

This position requires regular travel within Europe and to the United States.

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities and is motivated to build a company from an early stage.

Required qualifications:

• 5–15+ years of experience in MedTech, HealthTech, or medical robotics
• Proven experience in product development and commercialization
• Familiarity with medical device development (Class I–III)
• Exposure to clinical studies and regulatory processes (CE/FDA)
• Experience with fundraising or investor interactions
• Fluent English required

Preferred experience:

• Background in imaging, robotics, or cardiovascular care
• German language skills
• Experience bridging clinical, technical, and business domains
