Werkstudent Finance (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential organization in Hamburg seeking a working student to support their finance operations. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance processes while supporting the team with day-to-day operational tasks.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing and tracking open items and follow-up tasks within the finance department
• Supporting accounts payable and receivable activities, including clearing open items and resolving discrepancies
• Handling claims processing and insurance adjustments with structured documentation and follow-up
• Communicating with customers, insurance providers, and other stakeholders via phone and email
• Maintaining complete, accurate, and traceable records of all processing steps and outcomes in internal systems
• Assisting the team with additional administrative and operational tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled as a student at a university or college
• Meticulous, structured, and reliable working style
• Comfortable independently clarifying issues and confident using the telephone for communication
• Ability to maintain oversight of multiple concurrent tasks and priorities
• Proficient in standard MS Office applications
• Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
