(Senior) Expert Procurement Electronics (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential industrial manufacturing organization seeking an experienced procurement professional specializing in electronics and semiconductors. In this role, you will:

• Assess supply risks and vulnerabilities across critical electronics categories, creating transparency beyond Tier 1 suppliers to identify dependencies throughout the supply chain
• Support supply continuity by developing and implementing concrete mitigation measures, contributing your expertise in critical negotiations and supplier situations
• Identify, evaluate, and introduce alternative sourcing strategies and suitable supplier options to strengthen resilience
• Monitor market developments in semiconductors and electronics, deriving relevant implications for supply planning
• Define clear roadmaps for supply chain risk management and share proven best practices with internal procurement teams
• Navigate allocation situations and supply disruptions with strategic analysis combined with hands-on execution

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree from a recognized university, ideally in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or business administration
• Several years of experience in electronics procurement or semiconductor sourcing
• Deep market knowledge across semiconductors, electronic components, EMS, PCBAs, and control units
• Demonstrated success managing shortage situations and supply disruptions
• Strong understanding of multi-tier supply chain transparency and risk management practices
• Experience in industrial manufacturing, automotive, or comparable sectors preferred
• Creative problem-solving abilities with a balance of strategic thinking and implementation focus
• Fluency in both German and English required
