Werkstudent Online-Marketing mit Fokus E-Mail-Marketing für Online-Shops (m/w/d) – (Remote oder Würzburg)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential digital marketing agency seeking a working student to own the email marketing function for two active e-commerce clients. This is not an assistant role—you will be responsible for the complete email channel from strategy through execution.

You will start with a focused onboarding where our client walks you through their Klaviyo setup, campaign frameworks, and workflows. Once you're confident, you'll progressively take ownership while staying supported through regular check-ins and feedback sessions.

• Plan, build, and send email campaigns and newsletters aligned with seasonal calendars and shop events
• Create and optimize automated flows in Klaviyo: welcome sequences, cart abandonment, post-purchase, re-engagement, and more
• Manage segmentation, list growth, and subscriber database health
• Test subject lines, content variations, and send timing; analyze results and iterate
• Write all campaign copy yourself: subject lines, preheaders, body text, CTAs
• Design emails in the Klaviyo editor and create supporting graphics and visual elements
• Use AI tools as part of your daily workflow for text variants, image creation, and process efficiency
• Report on performance metrics and recommend next steps based on data
• If capacity allows, contribute to shop optimization (product pages, conversion elements) and Meta creative development

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a degree program related to e-commerce, marketing, media, business administration, communications, or similar field
• Desire for ownership and accountability—you want to run a channel, not just complete task lists
• Interest in e-commerce and email marketing; prior experience with Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Brevo, or similar platforms is helpful but not required if you learn quickly
• Strong writing skills with the ability to craft compelling, conversion-focused copy
• Visual sensibility: you can recognize effective email design and build layouts accordingly (design expertise not required, but understanding of layout, typography, and imagery is important)
• Curiosity about AI and willingness to integrate tools into your workflow to work faster and smarter
• Organized and self-directed with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple parallel projects
• Hands-on mentality: you experiment and problem-solve rather than wait for step-by-step instructions
• German language proficiency required for content creation
