Senior Analyst, Data Operations and Analytics

About This Opportunity

We are representing a global commerce technology company seeking a Senior Analyst, Data Operations and Analytics to join their Data Office in Paris. Our client serves the hospitality sector, helping businesses run smarter through data-driven insights and operational intelligence.

In this role, you'll serve as the critical bridge between data, product, and business teams. You'll transform complex business questions into clear insights, reusable data models, and reporting that drives better decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of hospitality business processes, systems, customers, and data architecture to support operational excellence
• Build exploratory and reusable data models leveraging diverse data sources, creating insightful datasets, dashboards, and analytical recommendations
• Translate complex stakeholder questions into well-defined analytical requirements and practical solutions
• Act as liaison between the Data Office and broader business organization, ensuring clear communication of findings, assumptions, and limitations
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and data flows through rigorous analysis
• Monitor and enhance data quality by investigating discrepancies, documenting findings, and driving continuous improvement
• Collaborate with the Data Office to establish analytical standards, improve documentation, and mentor junior team members
• Stay current with developments in data analytics, machine learning, and emerging technologies

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years in an analytical role with strong experience in data operations, business intelligence, reporting, or process optimization
• Proven ability translating business stakeholder needs into technical requirements and practical analytical solutions
• Excellent SQL skills with ability to work across complex data structures and multiple data sources
• Experience developing data models, datasets, dashboards, and reporting that are accurate, reusable, and accessible
• Background in hospitality, finance, accounting, revenue operations, sales, or another operational business environment strongly preferred
• Strong business acumen bridging technical challenges, analytical findings, and business strategy
• Meticulous attention to data accuracy and quality, with keen eye for spotting anomalies and investigating root causes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in presenting complex analytical results with clarity
• Self-starter mentality with ability to drive projects autonomously in fast-paced environments
• Familiarity with GCP, BigQuery, Dataform, Looker, GitHub, and Salesforce is a plus
• Experience with analytics tools such as Segment or Heap beneficial
