Analyst | Accounting, Global Billing (m/f/d)

We are representing a confidential financial services organization seeking an Analyst for their Global Billing team in Frankfurt am Main. Our client is a rapidly growing player in the index and data space, and this role offers the chance to build and scale critical billing operations in a dynamic international environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete billing cycle, including accurate and timely preparation and issuance of customer invoices
• Process and validate Assets under Management (AuM) reporting data and maintain billing templates for AuM-based accounts
• Perform quality checks to ensure invoice accuracy, completeness, and compliance with commercial agreements
• Serve as primary contact for invoice-related client inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently
• Maintain billing-related data in Salesforce and collaborate with Sales, Product, Legal, and Accounting teams
• Identify opportunities to improve, standardize, and scale billing processes while taking ownership of issues through resolution

What We're Looking For

• 1-3 years of experience in billing, finance operations, accounting, or a comparable operational finance role
• Strong attention to detail, high accuracy, and a structured, reliable approach to managing deadlines and recurring tasks
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial data and business systems
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
• Strong problem-solving mindset, ownership mentality, and ability to independently drive issues to resolution
• Effective communication skills with experience collaborating across teams and interacting with clients
• Experience with AuM-based, usage-based, or other variable billing models is advantageous
• Interest in process improvement and automation, ideally in an international or cross-border business environment
