Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential aviation services organization seeking a skilled Vehicle Mechatronics Technician / Automotive Mechanic for their workshop location in Dietzenbach near Frankfurt Airport. You will support maintenance, inspection, and repair operations for ground support equipment, ensuring operational readiness and quality for airport operations.

Your detailed responsibilities include:

• Performing repair and maintenance work on aviation ground support equipment according to recognized technical standards
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions on specialized equipment
• Conducting scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on vehicles and machinery to ensure functionality and safety
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, safety standards, and quality assurance guidelines
• Documenting all completed repairs and maintenance activities in the system
• Supporting the development and optimization of repair processes and workflows
• Preparing equipment for handover to customers or deployment at airports

What We're Looking For

• Completed vocational training as a Mechanic/Mechatronics Technician in the automotive/commercial vehicle sector, or comparable training (e.g., agricultural or construction machinery technician)
• Knowledge of relevant technical regulations and standards
• At minimum, good German language skills in both written and spoken communication
• Valid or ability to obtain security clearance according to §7 Aviation Security Act
• Class B driver's license
• Forklift certification is a strong advantage
