Senior IT Solution Architect (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a leading German IT infrastructure and cloud services organization seeking a Senior IT Solution Architect to join their Product & Solution Design team. This role can be based in Nuremberg or performed remotely within Germany.

Our client operates multiple high-security data centers and delivers enterprise-grade cloud, network, security, and managed application services. With over 600 employees and decades of market presence, they are recognized as one of Germany's premier IT specialists.

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will bridge technical design, product development, and customer advisory—shaping how complex IT solutions are conceived, documented, and integrated into production environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical development of IT services at the platform and application layer
• Collaborate closely with product management during proposal and tender processes
• Coordinate specialist technical teams, system architects, and external partners in a structured manner
• Contribute to the technological evolution of core operational platforms
• Provide technical consulting to clients across diverse industries on solution platform design
• Author design guides and blueprints; mentor colleagues on technology questions

What We're Looking For

• University degree in Computer Science, completed vocational training as IT Specialist for System Integration, or comparable qualification
• Extensive experience in technical implementation of IT projects and IT operations
• Hands-on expertise across multiple technology domains
• Deep understanding of data-center-centric IT services
• Strong customer orientation and quality mindset
• Goal-driven approach with creative problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Independent, responsible, customer-focused work style combined with teamwork and entrepreneurial thinking
• Very good German and English language skills, written and spoken
