We are representing a well-established small animal veterinary practice in Virginia Water, Surrey. This confidential client operates in a picturesque village setting and is preparing to move into brand new premises opening in May 2026. Our talent team is seeking a Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive, community-focused team known for delivering trusted care and building lasting client relationships.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinary surgeon looking to lead clinical work in a practice that values quality care, professional growth, and work-life balance. The location offers countryside calm with convenient access to London (under 1 hour) and Heathrow Airport.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient and client care across a varied small animal caseload
• Work collaboratively with the wider practice team to maintain clinical excellence
• Handle a balanced mix of consultations and surgical procedures
• Follow cases from initial presentation through to completion
• Contribute to the clinical development and mentoring of colleagues
• Participate in the practice's dentistry and ophthalmology work
• Engage with local community and charitable initiatives
• Support the transition to new premises and help shape future practice development

What We're Looking For

• Veterinary degree with current RCVS registration (or eligibility to register with RCVS)
• Senior-level experience in small animal clinical practice
• Strong clinical confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
• Demonstrated competence in dentistry and ophthalmology (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective client relationships
• Professional approach with ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Leadership qualities and willingness to mentor team members

Schedule: No out-of-hours work required. Saturday morning rotation (8:30am–12:30pm) with Friday afternoon off in lieu. Flexible working hours available to suit your lifestyle.

Pay and Benefits

Pay via Get A Job.ai: Up to £80,000 per annum, plus welcome bonus up to £8,000 and relocation allowance up to £8,000.
