Full Stack Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization expanding rapidly across Europe. Our client is building next-generation financial products and needs experienced full stack engineers who can move quickly from concept to shipped product.

This is a remote role based in the Netherlands. You'll work with a global team of over 20 nationalities building consumer-facing financial applications at scale.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship complete product features across frontend, backend, APIs and databases
• Create customer and internal workflows for onboarding, accounts, payments, rewards, support automation, KYC and risk operations
• Transform ambiguous product requirements into working systems with clean user experiences and reliable backend logic
• Collaborate closely with product, design, mobile, backend and AI engineering teams to launch features quickly and iterate based on real usage
• Build internal tools and automation that reduce manual operational work and help teams scale efficiently
• Own your work beyond initial release: monitor production systems, debug issues, analyze performance and drive continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

• Strong full stack engineering experience with demonstrable shipped products in production
• Comfort working across frontend, backend, APIs, databases and production debugging
• Solid frontend execution using React, Next.js, Vue or similar modern frameworks
• Strong backend fundamentals including API design, data modeling, authentication, third-party integrations and system reliability
• Product mindset with ability to simplify complex workflows and unclear requirements
• Ability to work quickly with ambiguity and own end-to-end outcomes
• Track record of personally building, shipping or scaling serious products or platforms—not just working at well-known companies
• Strong English communication skills for collaboration across global teams
• Must currently be based in the Netherlands

This role is not suitable for: Engineers who prefer working on a single narrow technology layer, those who need complete specifications before starting work, developers who ship interfaces without considering backend or operational impact, candidates who avoid production support responsibilities, or applicants who cannot demonstrate concrete shipped work.
