Senior Product Designer

Responsibilities

We are representing a growing fintech organization seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their consumer banking product team in London. In this role, you will:

• Own end-to-end product design from discovery through delivery for a mobile-first consumer financial product
• Lead discovery efforts by identifying user problems, framing opportunities, and developing hypotheses in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams
• Design intuitive, high-quality mobile experiences in Figma that drive activation, engagement, and retention metrics
• Validate solutions through prototyping, user research, and usability testing, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative data
• Contribute to the design system and help maintain consistency and quality across the product as it scales

What We're Looking For

Our client needs a senior-level designer with demonstrated expertise in consumer mobile products:

• Proven experience as a Senior Product Designer working on mobile-first consumer products, with a portfolio showing end-to-end UX design and measurable business impact
• Strong discovery skills including problem framing, hypothesis definition, user research, and insight synthesis
• Excellent UX, interaction, and information design capabilities with a high standard for quality and usability
• Ability to work autonomously within cross-functional teams alongside Product Managers and Engineers, with solid understanding of technical constraints
• Experience leveraging AI design tools for ideation, prototyping, and research synthesis to accelerate workflows
• Proficiency in Figma and experience contributing to or evolving design systems
• Candidates must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship
