Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential international policy organization based in Berlin. As a Working Student supporting their European Security Programme, you will:
- Assist in organizing events, including preparing participant lists, sending invitations, tracking registrations, and liaising with attendees
- Support research activities by following relevant debates and monitoring political developments related to the programme's focus areas
- Handle logistical tasks such as coordinating with venues, hotels, and catering companies
- Monitor and respond to the general programme inbox, ensuring timely and accurate communication with partners and participants
- Update and maintain the programme's contact database
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in Political Science, International Relations, Event Management, or a related field at a German university or higher education institution (graduates are not eligible)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong critical thinking, research, and analytical skills
- Proactive and flexible attitude, with willingness to take on varied responsibilities including administrative and logistical tasks
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Enthusiastic and proactive approach to work
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptable and flexible with willingness to take on varied tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multinational team
- Must be eligible to work in Germany
