About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential healthcare technology organization that is building solutions to give frontline medical professionals more time for patient care. We are seeking a Senior Freelance Android Engineer to take ownership of mobile application development that directly impacts the daily workflow of healthcare workers.
This is a freelance engagement with a minimum three-month commitment, based remotely with occasional travel to Berlin (expenses covered). We welcome candidates located in France, Germany, or England.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of Android application development and technical implementation using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Build features from concept through launch that improve user workflows and daily efficiency
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into creative, efficient technical solutions
- Participate in the complete development lifecycle including concept design, testing, deployment, and user feedback integration
- Implement CI/CD processes and maintain code quality standards
What We're Looking For
- Several years of professional experience in Android development with Kotlin and Compose
- Strong knowledge of Git, CI/CD workflows, and testing methodologies
- Deep understanding of Flow lifecycle and Operators
- Demonstrated ability to design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces
- Fluent English (C1 level); German is a plus but not required
- Willingness to travel to Berlin periodically for collaboration
- Availability for a minimum three-month engagement
