About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential digital technology consultancy seeking a Senior Mobile Security Developer to join their London operation. This hybrid role requires two days per week on-site in London, offering flexibility to balance professional and personal commitments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of mobile security services, including penetration testing, research, and advisory engagements
• Define secure technical architectures and approaches at squad level, ensuring quality, security, and compliance
• Develop effective threat models and mitigation strategies for mobile platforms
• Translate business objectives into technical strategy and align roadmaps with long-term organizational goals
• Drive adoption of Agile methodologies and resolve technical impediments across teams
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, managing expectations and providing practical, risk-based security recommendations
• Contribute to end-to-end development and security excellence across front-end and back-end mobile systems
• Drive innovation by adopting emerging security practices and sharing knowledge across the organization

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on expertise in Android and iOS security fundamentals
• Deep knowledge of common mobile threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques
• Practical experience conducting mobile penetration testing and security assessments
• Proven ability to implement and assess mobile security controls
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, cryptography, and encryption
• Systematic and analytical approach to identifying and resolving security issues
• Experience with threat modeling and secure design principles
• Proactive mindset toward improving security practices, tooling, and controls

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with mobile security tools such as Burp Suite Pro, Frida, Objection, JADX, IDA Pro, Hopper, Radare, ADB, Apktool, or similar
• Knowledge of Android/iOS development and secure development practices
• Familiarity with DevSecOps tooling, testing, and automation frameworks
• Programming experience in C, Java, Kotlin, Objective-C, Swift, JavaScript, Python, or Bash
• Understanding of ARM/ARM64 assembly for reverse engineering
• Awareness of Cloud security and emerging security technologies
