About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential healthcare technology organization that is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join their distributed engineering teams across Poland. This is a 100% remote position based anywhere in Poland.
Our client operates one of Europe's largest healthcare platforms, connecting millions of patients with medical providers. Their engineering teams build systems that directly impact how people access and receive care—from intelligent search and booking to practice management software and AI-powered clinical tools.
This role offers exceptional growth potential for early-career engineers who want to work on meaningful problems at scale. You'll join small, autonomous teams with real ownership from day one, working on production systems used by healthcare providers and patients across multiple countries.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship features across the full stack that solve real user problems in healthcare delivery
- Work on next-generation marketplace systems, practice management software, or AI-powered clinical workflows
- Own end-to-end product surfaces within small, autonomous teams
- Participate in AI-assisted development workflows to increase engineering effectiveness
- Contribute to distributed systems serving millions of users across multiple countries
- Collaborate cross-functionally from feature conception through deployment
- Maintain and evolve production systems with focus on reliability and long-term maintainability
- Document your work and share knowledge across team members
What We're Looking For
Required qualifications:
- Strong foundations in computer science including data structures, algorithms, and complexity
- Solid understanding of core software engineering principles
- Ability to design, implement, and ship working software that solves real problems
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to break down complex systems
- Builder mindset—you enjoy turning ideas into products and taking ownership of outcomes
- Curiosity about users and their needs; comfortable iterating on solutions based on feedback
- High learning velocity—you pick up new technologies and domains quickly
- AI-first engineering mindset with active interest in AI coding tools and workflows
- Legal authorization to work in Poland
Preferred qualifications:
- Academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or rigorous technical discipline
- Competitive programming experience (ICPC, Code Jam, national olympiads, Codeforces, or similar)
- Evidence of building things: side projects, open-source contributions, hackathons, or shipped products
- Exposure to modern workflows including collaborative development, continuous delivery, and observability
Technical environment includes:
- Backend: Node.js, TypeScript
- Frontend: React, TypeScript
- Mobile: React Native
- Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform
- Modern CI/CD pipelines and observability tooling
