Technical & Reporting Accountant

Our talent team is representing a confidential technology organization in their search for a Technical & Reporting Accountant. This remote role is open to candidates across EMEA and the UK, supporting a globally distributed team that collaborates across multiple time zones.

We're seeking an IFRS specialist to support complex financial reporting, statutory compliance, and preparation for increased public market scrutiny. Responsibilities

• Research and interpret new and existing accounting standards, providing technical guidance on complex transactions
• Draft accounting papers, policy documentation, and technical memoranda
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on financial reporting requirements
• Support external audit processes and collaborate with internal audit teams
• Contribute to month-end reporting to deliver timely, accurate management information
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP across multiple jurisdictions
• Assist in preparing statutory accounts and annual reports for various subsidiaries
• Support finance transformation initiatives and readiness for heightened reporting standards
• Drive efficiency improvements in financial processes and monitor compliance
• Build strong cross-functional relationships beyond the finance team

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, ACMA, CPA, or similar)
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP frameworks
• Proven experience in financial reporting and statutory accounts preparation
• Background at a large public accounting firm or multinational corporate accounting department strongly preferred
• Experience with NetSuite or similar enterprise-grade financial systems
• Business-level written and spoken English
• Willingness to travel internationally 2-4 times per year for team meetings (up to two weeks per event)
• Exceptional academic and career track record demonstrating precision and reliability
