About This Opportunity

We are representing a well-established management consulting firm specializing in hospitality, leisure, and public facility sectors across Germany and Europe. Our client seeks a business consultant to join their Düsseldorf team starting January 2027. You will work on strategic projects involving restaurants, catering operations, leisure facilities, and hospitality venues, conducting on-site analyses, developing feasibility studies, and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders and municipal decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site facility assessments and meet with management teams, operational leaders, and key stakeholders to understand business operations
• Analyze operational workflows, infrastructure, and financial performance to evaluate economic viability
• Contribute to the development of strategy and optimization concepts, feasibility studies, and client reports from initial structure through final delivery
• Perform competitive and market analyses, including benchmarking of specific business units
• Support procurement processes by designing tender procedures, evaluating bids, and assessing operator concepts
• Present findings and recommendations to city councils, supervisory boards, executive teams, and senior management
• Contribute to industry publications and sector-specific reference materials

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree with business/economics focus or comparable qualification
• One to three years of professional experience in hospitality, leisure, catering, facility management, or management consulting
• Strong analytical skills with comfort working with financial data and identifying meaningful insights
• Confident presentation skills and professional presence when addressing executive leadership and public sector committees
• Excellent German language proficiency, as reports regularly serve as decision-making documents for governing bodies
• Willingness to travel for project assignments throughout Germany
