Senior Sales Engineer – Germany

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential cloud security organization seeking a Senior Sales Engineer for a fully remote position based in Germany. In this role, you will serve as a technical champion, working alongside our client's sales team to drive new business opportunities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Presenting enterprise cloud security solutions to prospective customers across Germany
• Gathering and documenting technical requirements from enterprise clients
• Delivering compelling product demonstrations and proof-of-concept engagements
• Translating customer security challenges into tailored technical recommendations
• Building trusted advisor relationships with technical stakeholders during their security transformation initiatives
• Partnering with account executives to develop territory plans and identify expansion opportunities

What We're Looking For

Our client requires candidates with the following qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Systems Integrator with deep expertise in enterprise network or cloud security technologies
• Professional fluency in German language with strong presentation and demonstration skills
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience with AI-driven security solutions
• Proven track record using Value Selling Methodologies in complex enterprise sales cycles
• Demonstrated success partnering with sales teams to build pipeline and close opportunities

Preferred qualifications that will make you stand out:

• Cloud Platform certifications or security credentials such as CISSP or CCNP
• Subject matter expertise in SASE, Proxy technology, IPS, DLP, CASB, or CNAPP
• Experience architecting or positioning AI-driven threat detection or predictive analytics within enterprise cloud security frameworks
• Background demonstrating automated policy generation or security orchestration solutions
