About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential healthcare software organization experiencing strong growth. Our client is focused on innovation and efficiency in the healthcare sector and needs support securing government funding to accelerate product development. We're seeking a Government Grants Specialist who can take ownership of the entire grants process.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant government grant opportunities in the US and Canada
- Manage the full lifecycle of grant applications from discovery through submission
- Prepare, write, and submit high-quality grant proposals that align with organizational objectives
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather required information and documentation
- Maintain accurate records of applications, deadlines, and outcomes
- Track and report on grant pipeline and success rates
- Ensure compliance with all grant requirements and guidelines
- Use internal systems to support tracking and reporting activities
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Proven experience securing government grants in Canada and/or the United States
- Strong writing and proposal development skills
- Excellent research and organizational abilities
- High attention to detail—this is critical for success in this role
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Diligent, accountable, and proactive work style
- Ability to take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision
Preferred:
- Experience in healthcare or healthcare software environments
- Familiarity with financial or operational tools such as Xero and Pluto
- Experience working remotely in fast-paced settings
