About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing technology company that is building trusted communication solutions for enterprise clients across EMEA and beyond. This is a foundational talent acquisition role based in London, covering end-to-end recruitment across the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, and the Nordics, with APAC expansion on the horizon.

This is the first permanent in-house recruiting position in the region, replacing a contractor model. You will own GTM and Engineering hiring across multiple markets, partnering closely with hiring managers, HR Operations, and leadership teams across the US and Europe.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of 8 to 12 active roles across EMEA, spanning GTM functions (Account Directors, Account Executives, SDRs, Customer Success) and Engineering positions, from intake through offer and handover
• Conduct intake meetings that transform broad hiring requests into defined, sourceable briefs, and provide candid feedback when requirements don't align with market realities
• Source candidates directly and proactively—most successful hires will not apply inbound, and brand recognition in target markets is limited
• Build and maintain market maps, talent pools, and competitor intelligence for hiring countries, ensuring institutional knowledge remains with the organization
• Pitch the company credibly to senior candidates in markets with no brand presence, converting skepticism into genuine interest
• Leverage AI tooling throughout the recruitment workflow, from sourcing and research through screening, outreach, and reporting
• Partner with HR Operations and onboarding teams across geographies, setting clear candidate expectations around multi-country employment structures including EOR arrangements

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of in-house recruiting experience with hands-on hiring across multiple EMEA countries (not UK-only). Agency background is welcome if you have also owned end-to-end processes in-house
• Genuine all-rounder capability: proven experience recruiting both commercial and technical roles, with the ability to partner effectively with engineering hiring managers
• Demonstrated track record of identifying and attracting senior talent in competitive markets for companies with limited brand recognition—this is the most critical requirement and will be assessed during the interview process
• Proven ability to operate as a strategic advisor to hiring managers, including the confidence to reframe or challenge briefs that won't succeed in market
• Active, fluent use of AI tools in day-to-day recruiting work alongside a modern recruiting stack—you will be asked to demonstrate this live using your own tools
• Drive, resilience, and comfort with ambiguity: sustaining high-quality outbound efforts when response rates are low, maintaining credibility when pipelines stall, and returning to challenging markets with improved approaches

Preferred qualifications:

• Recruiting experience in APAC markets, particularly Japan or Singapore
• Experience as the first or among the first recruiters in a new country for a company
• Working knowledge of Ashby or strong experience with a comparable modern ATS
• Additional European languages, particularly German, French, or Spanish
• Experience hiring into markets via an Employer of Record

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: £70,000 – £85,000
