About This Opportunity

We are representing a climate-focused technology company that is building critical infrastructure solutions for the electric utility sector. Our client uses satellite imagery and AI to help utilities identify and manage vegetation risks along power lines—work that directly reduces wildfire danger and prevents outages.

This is a Senior Product Marketing Manager role reporting to the VP of Marketing. You will be building the product marketing function from the ground up, owning positioning, messaging, pricing, packaging, and sales enablement for a B2B enterprise software platform sold into a highly technical, multi-stakeholder environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own core positioning and messaging across category narrative and product-level value propositions for utility decision-makers
  • Shape the language that defines how utility leaders understand vegetation-related infrastructure risks and the cost of inaction
  • Lead pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategy for new and existing products, including complex custom deals with multi-stakeholder buying processes
  • Build sales enablement materials—battlecards, pitch narratives, ROI models—and train sales reps on how to use them effectively in long enterprise cycles
  • Partner with product and sales leadership on go-to-market decisions, owning end-to-end product launches, pilot structuring, and new segment entry
  • Run win/loss analysis and competitive intelligence programs to inform positioning and sales strategy
  • Mentor early-career team members across product marketing, content marketing, and field marketing

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • 7+ years in product marketing, with meaningful B2B enterprise software experience, ideally in long sales cycles with multi-stakeholder buying processes
  • Demonstrated ability to write for highly technical audiences and craft sharp, accessible narratives for product demos, executive briefings, and field sales conversations
  • Proven use of AI tools integrated into daily workflows
  • Experience building and delivering sales training, including running enablement sessions, coaching reps, and iterating based on field feedback
  • Comfort with complexity: custom deals, non-standard packaging, and sales motions requiring significant cross-functional coordination
  • Strong strategic instincts—ability to zoom out for category narrative and zoom in to wordsmith a one-pager, knowing when each is needed
  • Experience supporting a company through a major product or new market launch
  • A builder's mindset—energized by defining a function without a playbook

Preferred:

  • Experience in the utility, energy, or climate tech space
  • Familiarity with regulatory and operational pressures facing electric utilities, particularly around wildfire risk, vegetation management, or grid reliability
  • Experience building a product marketing function from scratch

Location: United States (Central or Eastern Time Zone preferred). This is a remote position with an international team.
