Manager Cloud Architect – Paris

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential data and AI consulting firm with a strong presence across Europe. Our client is seeking a Manager Cloud Architect to join their Paris team. In this role, you will work directly with enterprise clients across retail, luxury, healthcare, finance, and industrial sectors to design and implement cloud-based data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead client discovery workshops to analyze business needs and define technical requirements
• Design target architectures and cloud solutions on GCP and Azure platforms
• Assess technical feasibility and implementation risks for each project
• Collaborate with client technical teams to identify optimal solutions aligned with their organization
• Manage data flows, transformation, storage, and distribution within cloud environments
• Guide development teams and data scientists through solution production and deployment
• Work with business teams using agile methodologies to iterate on solutions
• Facilitate client ownership and long-term sustainability of implemented solutions
• Stay current on emerging cloud and data technologies
• Contribute to the technical development of engineering teams

What We're Looking For

• Engineering or computer science degree with strong knowledge of modern technical architecture components
• At least 5 years of experience with expertise in one or more areas: Data Architecture, Cloud Architecture, IT Systems Architecture, IoT, or DevOps
• Previous consulting experience required
• Fluency in English and French
• Experience working in consulting or professional services environments
• Strong problem-solving abilities and investigative skills to gather comprehensive requirements
• Business-oriented mindset with ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Pragmatic approach balancing immediate needs with scalable, future-proof solutions

Preferred qualifications:

• Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, or Amazon AWS
• Software development background
• Experience with Python, Kubernetes, Kafka, Spark, Airflow, Docker, and related technologies
