Math Content Teacher **Referrals ONLY**

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential K–12 education organization seeking a full-time Math Content Teacher for a remote position starting August 2026. Our client provides structured, high-quality math instruction to students across the United States, and our talent team is seeking educators who are passionate about student growth and want to teach within a supportive, curriculum-driven environment.

This is a long-term teaching role with opportunities for professional development and career advancement—not a short-term tutoring position. You'll work 30–40 hours per week as a W2 employee teaching virtual math classes with comprehensive curriculum materials, ongoing training, and team collaboration already in place.

Responsibilities

• Teach school and competition math in virtual classroom settings with approximately 18 students per class, using provided curriculum and instructional materials
• Lead 3–6 classes per week (6–12 teaching hours) during consistent weekly time slots: Wednesday–Friday 4pm–8pm PT and Saturday–Sunday 9am–8pm PT
• Grade homework assignments and provide timely, constructive feedback to students
• Communicate professionally with students and parents regarding progress, learning plans, and academic development
• Participate in onboarding training (beginning August 2026), lesson preparation, and ongoing professional development
• Maintain a positive, high-expectation learning environment that supports student confidence and long-term learning ability
• Complete administrative tasks including class prep, grading, and parent communications (total commitment: 30–40 hours/week)

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university (Math, STEM, or Education majors preferred)
• Strong mathematical foundation and ability to explain concepts clearly to K–12 students
• Availability during required class windows (at least one weekend day required)
• Ability to commit to at least one year (through May 2027), with teaching beginning September 2026
• Passion for teaching and supporting student growth with excellent communication skills
• Strong service mindset: proactive in initiating communication with parents, students, and team members
• Openness to feedback, self-reflection, and ability to adjust teaching approach based on guidance
• Previous tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or classroom teaching experience is a plus
• Math competition background (AMC, Math Kangaroo, etc.) is a plus

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $35–45/hour for teaching hours and $16–20/hour for non-teaching administrative time (grading, prep, parent communication). Our client offers performance-based pay increases up to three times per year, plus an end-of-semester commission typically ranging from 15–30% of total teaching compensation. Benefits include 401(k) and health/dental/vision insurance based on eligibility. Visa sponsorship may be considered for long-term, high-performing teachers.
