About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential consumer products company based in Cologne. Our client is seeking a working student or part-time Social Media & Content specialist (m/f/d) to create engaging video content and manage social media channels. This is a hands-on role where you'll handle everything from concept to final post—shooting, editing, and appearing on camera to showcase products for young families.

You'll work directly with marketing, product management, and leadership in a small, agile team where your ideas can go live the same day. This role is ideal for someone who loves creating authentic content that doesn't feel like advertising.

Responsibilities

• Create Reels, product videos, and explainer videos from concept through scripting, filming, and editing
• Manage Instagram channel: posts, stories, captions, and feed planning based on content calendar
• Organize photo and video shoots: model calls, coordination, contracts, and hands-on filming on shoot days
• Handle giveaways and collaboration requests from selection through communication to shipping
• Prepare content for website, newsletter, Amazon, and advertising campaigns in coordination with marketing team
• Use AI tools for editing, captions, and content ideation to improve efficiency
• Appear on camera to demonstrate and explain products in Reels, videos, and stories

What We're Looking For

• Experience with video editing (CapCut or Canva required; Premiere and Photoshop are a plus)
• Strong eye for composition, color, and editing rhythm
• Native-level fluency in German for writing captions and scripts
• Deep familiarity with Instagram—you understand current formats and trends
• Self-starter who can execute ideas independently, even when plans change on shoot day
• Willingness to work with AI tools for content creation
• On-camera experience is a strong advantage: you speak freely and authentically
• Interest in creating content for expectant parents and young families (personal parenting experience not required)
• Currently enrolled in Communication, Media, Marketing, or similar studies (for working student position), or comparable practical experience (for part-time position)

Pay & Arrangement
