Product Manager – EXOtube

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential aerospace organization seeking a Product Manager to oversee the development, qualification, and launch planning of advanced satellite deployment systems. In this multi-faceted role, you will combine technical project management with customer engagement and business development activities.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Managing requirements, design, qualification, and launch planning for complex rideshare hardware projects
• Leading customer communication and ensuring smooth project progression from concept through mission execution
• Developing concepts for ground support equipment and test hardware while coordinating with suppliers
• Planning and participating in test and launch campaigns at international locations
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation including user manuals, sales materials, technical reports, and internal procedures
• Collaborating with the sales team to address prospect inquiries regarding technical capabilities, launch vehicle compatibility, and service offerings
• Writing proposals alongside the business development team to secure contracts for hardware development and satellite constellation launches
• Representing the organization at space conferences and industry events at the highest professional level
• Gathering customer requirements and working with engineering teams to iterate on product offerings and identify new business opportunities

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in structural, mechanical, space engineering, or a similar field
• 5+ years of engineering work experience
• Proven experience in customer-facing roles and sales activities
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Outstanding technical communication skills with the ability to translate complex engineering concepts for diverse audiences
• Strong proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks
• Strong design sensibility to integrate brand standards into documentation and hardware design
• Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, demanding work setting
• Flexibility for travel, including occasional short-notice trips (approximately 10-15% of work time)
• Current residence in Berlin, Germany, or willingness to relocate
